The KLHF platform contains a user friendly and intuitive administrator page along with an embedded end user licensing agreement (EULA) which together facilitate the onboarding of study participants. The flexibility of the KLHF platform allows for the potential customization of demographics and assessments in order to meet the needs of the researcher. Data from the demographics and assessments is securely stored on the web and accessible to the research team in a variety of user friendly formats.
The KLHF platform can be used as the sole source for conducting assessments or used in combination with other clinical assessments. The KLHF will supply details on the assessments and KLHF platform as required for your IRB submission, similar to the process required for existing computerized assessment packages. As with the use of existing computerized assessments, the KLHF platform does not have the ability to obtain written informed consent from the participant for the overall study design, and therefore investigators will still be required to develop informed consent forms and HIPPA forms for the research projects that utilize the KLHF platform.
The self-contained nature of the KLHF platform allows for assessments to be conducted onsite or remotely under the supervision of KLHF trained personnel. No previous assessment experience is required for the students or staff overseeing the assessments (although it is preferred). The KLHF platform allows for the quick and effective delivery of a uniform assessment and ensures data capture without the need for expensive and cumbersome pencil and paper types of assessments. The ability of the administrator page to delegate roles to specific employees facilitates the oversite of assessments, data analysis, and project implementation.
