Mr. Lamar is chairman of Woodlawn Investments, Inc. and former general counsel and board member at Lamar Advertising Company. He is the founder of Charles Lamar Family Foundation and a board member of several non-profit organizations, including Lamar-Dixon Expo Foundation, Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation, Alzheimer’s Services of Greater Baton Rouge and Baton Rouge Area Foundation. Through financial contributions, he has helped establish or expand facilities and programs at many non-profit organizations, including Louisiana State University and the Institute for Dementia Research and Prevention at Pennington Biomedical Research Center.
